Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year previous experience in a similar position, excellent beverage knowledge to include; wines, beers, spirits and cocktails as well a genuine passion for delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

This is a full time seasonal position which requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays

Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 

\n\n\n

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $19.92/hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. 

\n\n\n

Union Position: This position is part of the Local 6 Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established.  You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Server, you would be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nRespond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nEnsure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials\nTake guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system\nRetrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner\nReplenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service\nServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations\nEnsure serving station is well-stocked at all times \n
