The pool server's primary responsibilities are to request or take orders from guests and serve food and beverages, check on guest satisfaction and handle the payment and complaints/concerns of customers. Pool servers are also responsible for maintaining a complete knowledge of food and beverage menus, serving guests quickly and efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment.
Responsibilities Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company and departmental policies/service procedures/standards.Serves food and beverage to guests following moments of service (MOS) and adheres to service timesAcknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries or requestsCommunicate with guests and food and beverage staff in a clear and professional manner at all timesCommunicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to manager and kitchenMaintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, outlet specific beverages and non-alcoholic selections offeredPrepares dining room and work area for either opening or closing in accordance with company standardsCleaning and resetting of dirty tables according to standardsMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas both FOH and BOHAttends monthly staff meetings to receive information and directionContributes to a professional workplace that maximizes employee moral, productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse FOH and BOH staffInsures responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumptionAccurately takes food and beverage orders from guests and promptly records all transactions in the Micros system. Physical Requirements:
