As a server, you must be motivated, team oriented, friendly, dependable and driven to providing excellent guest service. A qualified candidate will strive to WOW our guests every day. As a server you will be responsible for answering questions, suggestively selling, and creating an upbeat atmosphere for our guests

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

Assist with cleaning tablesStock items in the dinerMust be able to operate a cash registerMust Set up place settingsMust transport dishware to the kitchenOther assigned tasks as directed by the Diner Assistant Manager and Diner Manager

Provide the best customer experience to every customerGreet every customer with a smile and sincere greetingAssume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria’s customer service program at the site level

Safety & Station Appearance

Responsible for doing what is necessary to minimize the safety risks to employees, customers and suppliers.Assure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforcedMaintain safety and security of the diner and document any accidents or incidents that occurManage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the dinerOperate all assigned equipment safely and efficientlysupport implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health programPromptly Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnessesComplete the new employee safety orientation procedure

QUALIFICATIONS:

Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.Can lift up to 50 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniquesAbility to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products;Ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)Perform general housekeeping duties as neededMust be 18 years of age

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ensures physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilitiesPerforms other related duties as requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesMust be able to traverse and access all areas of the storeProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods of standing
