Position Summary: Servers at PHL Airport are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards. Responsibilities : + Follow OTG steps of service , standard operating procedure s . + Greet guests pleasantly + Walk guests through the OTG ordering and payment system + Highlight menu, food and beverage options, make suggestions based on guest preferences and /or dietary restrictions/allergies + Follow the OTG cash handling and cash register policies + Maintain cleanliness within the restaurants dining and service stations + Communicate with Chefs and Managers to ensure food is delivered t o guests in a time ly manner + Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations + Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required + Assist team members as nee ded + Inform MOD on guest complaints/feedback /inquiries + Monitor and report intoxicated guests to MOD + Inform leadership team of low inventory and equipment issues + Perform additional tasks requested by the OTG leadership team Q ualification s : + 1-2 years of e xperience as a S erver + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment + Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including beer, wine and cocktail pairings + Must be at least 18 years of age + F luent + fully conversational in English + Must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment + Able to lift , up to 35 lbs. in weight + Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch + Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions --must be flexible + + Pay rate: $5.90 per hour plus tips.
