Precise is currently looking for a Server Administrator to install, configure, and manage a set of Microsoft based web applications in a classified environment.  This position is required to be in commuting distance of Pax River Naval Air Station in order to attend meetings and access a SCIF facility as needed.   

Duties:

Perform the installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of software running in an IL6 AWS environment. Manage setup, configuration, security implementation of Microsoft Windows-based 2016+ servers running IIS, SQL Server, and Tableau. Manage setup and configuration of Linux servers running Redis. Perform deployments of software and database updates/releases to servers in an IL6 AWS environment. Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance following government guidelines and requirements. Coordinate with cloud and information assurance personnel to perform software security testing and scans. Interact with users, cloud hosting employees, and developers to assist with problem-solving. Maintain system documentation. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

At least 3 years of experience with Windows Server IIS and SQL Server system administration and analysis to include management of servers and completing administrative tasks in a federal government SCIF/IL6 environment. 2 years of experience with administration of a Linux web server desired. CompTIA Security +, or similar IAT Level II certification.

Required Education:

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
