**Position Description:**
The Server Administrator III’s role includes designing, installing, administering, and maintaining advanced computing systems. This includes conducting analysis of specification requirements, as well as, development and implementation of standards and procedures. The position is also expected to assist senior departmental management in IT strategic planning and provide general support for server operating systems and server applications.

**Major/Essential Functions:**
+ Setup, maintain, administer, secure, remediate and monitor Data Center infrastructure, including servers, applications and storage.
+ Setup, configure, maintain, administer and monitor backup, recovery and business continuity Infrastructure. As well as all data stored on all virtual/physical servers and infrastructure applications.
+ Work after hours and or weekend when required. Monitor network and datacenter infrastructure during on call schedule.
+ Provide technical support to users & vendors through telephone, teleconference, and work orders with server and data center related issues
+ Administer and support core infrastructure technologies. Including but not limited to: Active Directory,DHCP, DNS, Storage, Vmware, Citrix, Nutanix, Linux, ADFS/SAML, Windows, Linux and other Operating Systems.
+ Configure, secure and Administer Microsoft M365 tenant.
+ Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
+ Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTHSCEP's values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement and Teamwork).
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience administering one or more of the following platforms: - Microsoft Windows Server 2022/2019, VMware Vsphere, Red Hat Linux and Citrix XenApp / Xendesktop, ADFS/SAML. - Experience with at least two or more enterprise class systems, including Electronic Health Records, Imaging Systems, Virtual desktops, Application Servers, M365 Active Directory Servers, Storage, hyperconverged infrastructure, backups, monitoring products and other data center infrastructure products.
+ Experience managing and delivering complex data center and/or systems administration projects.
+ Advanced knowledge and experience implementing infrastructure for clinical and/or dental medicine related systems that are HIPAA compliant, industry standards relevant to data center and/or systems administration.

+ Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience OR
+ Combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years.
