Our Marriott Fort Lauderdale North boasts 315 guest rooms, 11,774 square feet of meeting space, and a restaurant. Overview The Full Time AM Server Assistant at Fort Lauderdale Marriott North is responsible for supporting the servers in providing exceptional service to guests. This role includes setting up tables, clearing dishes, refilling beverages, and ensuring a clean and organized dining area. This position plays an essential role in maintaining a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. As well, this position will provide In-Room Dining services. The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for taking guests’ orders over the phone and delivering food & beverage to guest rooms. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate food orders as well as timely delivery. This is a full time position with an hourly rate plus gratuity included. AM schedule is 5:30am-1:30pm. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service. Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for guest satisfaction. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, carrying trays, and clearing tables. Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges.
