The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining). Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook Overview McArthur's is named after the resort's architectural inspirations serving New American cuisine with hints of the Sonoran Desert delivering a creative fusion of meticulously sourced ingredients brought from farm to table in a menu of comforting delight. As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables, stocking service stations, and assisting the Server in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Specifically, this includes the following duties: Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc. Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations. Assist Server with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc. Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area. Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Follow all policies and procedures of the hotel and department. Complete all sidework and assist with other duties as assigned by management. This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts vary based on business needs but are typically between the hours of 7am-5pm or 5pm-12am. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7am-10pm Sunday-Thursday and 7am-11pm on Friday and Saturday.
