**JOB PURPOSE:** Assists with food preparation in accordance with our established procedural guidelines, and as may be directed by the Food Service Director. Follows community’s procedure for storing, serving and transporting food and supplies. IS also responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment. Follow community’s procedure for wait/waitress staff in our dining restaurant **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Assists cook in preparing desserts, salads and side dishes; and meal preparation as needed 2. Checks supply levels and requests orders as needed and stores in appropriate manner 3. Clean tables and changes tablecloths after every meal without exceptions 4. Cleans work area at the end of shift and after meals, including sweeping and mopping the dining area, bar and café area. 5. Delivers food and beverage orders residents’ apartments or in dining area as specified by resident or supervisor. 6. Follows all cleaning procedures and schedules 7. Follows all wait/waitress procedures as directed by the supervisor 8. Follows procedures for serving partner and resident meals as directed by supervisor. 9. Must proficiently track guest meals 10. Must train as required by supervise in upper tier table serving techniques, required for a Fine dining experience 11. Must train as required by supervisor in bar operation, drink making, and café ‘operations 12. Must wear specified uniform, gloves and hair covering as covered by regulations 13. Operates and cleans kitchen equipment such as carts, tables, counters, ice machines, coffee and tea machines, buckets, bus pans, dish machine, garbage disposal, etc. 14. Operates the Point of Sale food ordering system 15. Performs side work duties as outlined by manager 16. Removes all garbage from kitchen, wait station and bar area and cleans out garbage containers as needed 17. Scrape and wash dishes, pots and pans. Soak when needed 18. Separates, organizes and stores all clean dishes and silverware according to policy/procedure 19. Soak all silverware in diluted pre-soak solution and wash 20. Stores all cleaning solutions and materials appropriately. 21. Uses, maintains and cleans the appropriate serving equipment (ladles, spoons, scoops, etc. **MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:** High school diploma or its equivalent. **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** On-the-job training provided. **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)** Pervious server experience preferred.
