We are searching for an experienced Windows, Active Directory Server, and Scripting Engineer. This is a work-at-home. This critical role necessitates working independently and as part of a team. We seek a self-starter who is a critical thinker and problem solver, as these qualities are crucial for the role. This person will be responsible for various tasks and duties related to day-to-day activities, problem and issue resolution, and projects. Day-to-day activities may include scripting and coding, setting up and maintaining physical and virtual servers, creating and modifying GPOS and OUs, creating and modifying DHCP scopes and options, supporting a virtual environment, DNS, and developing and maintaining documentation. The engineer will support a large environment of Windows Servers, PowerShell scripts, multiple Windows Domains, tools, and applications. The role involves researching, analyzing, and effectively resolving problems to meet established performance metrics for the Windows platform in a timely manner to support the business. You will collaborate with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.We are looking for a candidate who understands the dynamic nature of IT and is ready to adapt to change. JOB DUTIES / PURPOSE
As a Server Engineer II, you will provide technical support, configurations, setup, and troubleshooting for a broad range of Windows servers, the active directory environment, and related technologies. You must have experience in these areas and the ability to work independently and effectively. This role strongly emphasizes team collaboration, where your contributions will be valued and integral to the team's success. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining complex Powershell scripts. You will maintain documented procedures for Windows Infrastructure and collaborate with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.

Education / Knowledge:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, technical school, or equivalent experience and training.
Certification in MCSA, MCSE, VMware, ITIL, or similar certification(s) would be considered an asset.
