Service Advisors are vital to our business and the work you do puts our customers- vehicles back on the road. The Service Advisor initiates vehicle services and repairs by reviewing schedules and ascertaining vehicle performance problems, verifying warranty coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, maintain customer communication and records. DeVivo Bus Sales is the largest bus dealer in New England and we sell a broad range of industry leading brands including IC Bus, Collins, Turtle Top, Champion Bus, TCIMobility, BraunAbility and Capacity Truck. What We Offer: + Family-oriented culture & team environment + Room for advancement - we promote from within + Medical & dental insurance + Life insurance + 401k plan with company match + Paid time off + Paid vacation days + Uniform & boot program + Paid training + Certification reimbursement + Overtime + Employee referral bonus program Primary Responsibilities: + Greet customers at service counter + Answer customer calls and coordinate getting their work into the shop + Keep customers informed on work progress and estimated completion date + Generate repair orders + Write job estimates + Work with service manager to schedule jobs for technicians + Generate billing statement for customers + Maintain a clean and safe work environment Position Requirements: + 2 years- experience in a service adviser/service writer role in a mechanical shop working with bus & medium and heavy-duty trucks/trailers + Knowledge of heavy-duty bus & truck operating systems + Estimate writing experience + Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with customers, employees and management + Good computer, Microsoft Outlook and internet skills + Strong work ethic and a commitment to work extra hours as needed + Valid driver-s license + Experience with Procede dealer management software is a plus Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status and any other protected classes.
