Altaquip, founded in 1997, has become one of the largest providers of commercial and consumer equipment service in the U.S. We offer services on a number of product categories, such small engine repair and outdoor power and lawn maintenance. Altaquip services over 100 manufacturer’s brands including Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Caterpillar, Husqvarna, Ariens, Generac, EGO, Greenworks and MTD, to name a few.The Service Center Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of our facility that specializes in the repair of outdoor power equipment that is primarily owned by our big box retail partners. The manager will be responsible for staffing the center with technicians, drivers and administrative personnel and managing that team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, team mentality and be an assertive and driven individual. The manager will be expected to set expectations, provide training and guidance and meet or exceed key metrics that will lead to financial success. The career path for a successful Service Center Manager can include opportunities in the future to be considered for Area Manager Positions and beyond.

3-6 years of management experience is preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree preferredBudget Management and Oversight ExperienceExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentLean/ Six Sigma experience is preferredWorking Conditions
