Role Summary

The Service Coordinator is responsible for supervising the DCIQ (Disassemble, Clean, Inspect & Quote) process. This role involves a number of customer-facing activities related to the offering process, including developing a final proposal to the customer. Your role has an operational and dynamic character. This makes it a position with a wide range of activities.

You provide operational support to the (field) service & repair team within our QRC in Roosendaal. In this role you have a lot of contact with internal colleagues (national & international) and external parties such as suppliers and customers.

Your Role

In short, the service & repair department is responsible for the expert maintenance, overhaul and modification of control valves, open/close valves and drives (pneumatic & electrical) of our customers. We also provide on-site service by our qualified technicians. Furthermore, we establish and maintain a lasting contractual relationship with a varied international customer portfolio in close collaboration with our commercial team.

Your Profile

You are the first point of contact for operational questions from internal and external customers; Our customers are mainly (Petro)chemical manufacturers located in the Benelux and Europe.

You collect technical data from valves, valves and actuators such as parts lists, drawings, user manuals and identify the required spare parts and spare parts for overhaul, modification and price analysis.

Based on the 'damage picture' found and/or required modification, you develop a thorough repair proposal, which you develop into a quotation.

Furthermore, this function also includes advising and coordinating field service, repair, troubleshooting and modifications of valves, valves and actuators required in a valve QRC.

You have contact with external suppliers and follow up on outsourcing of repairs.

You are responsible for the complete quotation process and, following the customer's instructions, you ensure a seamless transfer to order processing and the workshop.

You coordinate repair lead times in close contact with order processing and the service technician.

You also ensure timely registration and registration of our field service employees to gain and maintain site access for our customers.

This position requires a strong dose of product knowledge. This means that you will be offered this through an internal training program at home and abroad. In addition to product training, you will be supported on a daily basis by a network of experienced colleagues

What are we asking?

To be successful in this role, you already have 10 years of work experience in a commercial/operational environment after completing a Technician Engineering Level 4 or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering;

You have experience or affinity with valve and drive technology and industrial maintenance.

you have strong communication and analytical skills in Dutch and English;

you like and are used to a wide variety of activities, you know how to set priorities and you switch easily between the different (operational) tasks without losing accuracy;

and you have a customer-oriented, service-providing attitude.
