ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receives telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, work orders, adjustments and cancellations for local customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors.Maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.Coordinates and helps manage service work order projects from start to finish.Receives and processes requests for service work via phone and email.Processes jobsite survey notes, material estimates, and submits proposals to customers.Assists with supplier quotes and orders.Coordinates with insurance to keep certificates of insurance compliant.Creates purchase orders for materials and tracks delivery status.Utilizes Microsoft Teams to communicate material lead times and updates project schedules.Assists with customer invoicing.Assists with new hire and rehire paperwork.Serves as the main point of contact for Glass Division Service department.Works closely with the internal office personnel and field union employees.SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredExperience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Multi-tasking and organizational skills.Comfortability with following up with internal and external customers.Ability to work with a variety of personalities, remaining flexible and solution oriented.Experience with Vista Viewpoint, a plus.Computer Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge with Data Entry and Microsoft OfficeLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as adding and subtracting inventory amounts. Ability to accurately record numbers.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
