Service Delivery Analyst - Ops Lead

Our Service Delivery Analyst/Ops Lead role will be responsible for backend revenue cycle focused on contractual KPI and SLA performance across our clients. You will lead by providing strategy, decision support, organization planning and operational leadership to drive the overall performance for the West Coast clients. This includes collaboration across teams, coaching/guiding teams to be subject matter experts for payer requirements to be as robust and efficient as possible to reduce rework, multiple touches, and accelerate cash real time.

This is a high-visibility, “in-the-trenches” role and will include interaction with our Customer Operations leaders and Central Operations teams. You will be responsible for installing and institutionalizing the standard policies and procedure that will help maximize performance and identify opportunities to drive improvements. You will be expected to be the subject matter expert with proven operation knowledge that is passionate about improving the patient experience, relentlessly focused on operational excellence and driven to deliver operational results. The ideal Revenue Cycle Leader will be at the forefront of service delivery model and have a central focus of transforming the end-to-end operations of multi-hospital systems. The successful leader will understand the unique advantage of having a proven global operating capability driven by proprietary technology and measures that enable scale to support a rapidly growing organization.

Some of your work products will include financial analyses, process performance reports, process flows, group meeting facilitation, and client relationship development. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing hands-on individual who has a proven ability to lead teams and deliver results. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to form the big picture. The analyst/ops lead role will report to the Manager of that region in Service Delivery Excellence.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside service delivery leadership and associated team members on the revenue cycle delivery for large care organizations partnering with the customer operations team and R1 functional teams to deliver superior resultsContribute to our growing organization as a thought leader helping to improve the R1 RCM (R1) solution and inform our strategy.Support a high touch relationship with client counterparts and leadership, building and mentoring a high performance team and being a liaison between internal operational and client teamsLead innovations and operational enhancements/standardization by leveraging best practices and technology to create best in class corporate accounts receivable solutionsDemonstrate strong strategic thinking, collaboration, leadership, problem solving and communication skills with all levels of the organizationDemonstrate a consultative approach when working with departments, leaders and vendors to develop efficient, patient-focused solutionsMaintain functional accountability for insurance claim function, denials and rejections and a signification operation of denial remediation based on type of denialForward thinking individual with continued focus on change management, automation, cost reduction and exceptional performance (KPI, SLA, Cash Collections, True Clean Claim Touch Reduction, Quality Results)Ensure consistent implementation of corporate financial policies for A/R issues and standardization policiesGlobal first versus silo’d by region, facility, editor or client for solution implementationCelebrate victories with team and challenge status quo.Work closely with your client’s service delivery team and other internal functionsAssist in the relationship management of key client counterparts including continued communication of revenue cycle performanceDesign and develop regular and ad-hoc presentations to client executives highlighting pertinent updates relating to client needsConduct necessary analytics required to clearly communicate to clients both overall performance as well as specific ad-hoc subject matter areasWork hand in hand with internal R1 customer operations team to align operational objectives, understand current performance levels, and identify and develop remediation plans for any risks identifiedSupport execution of action plans to improve operational and metric performance leveraging pre-identified drivers/risks/barriersSupport R1 functional leaders on decisions regarding daily operations within assigned hospital(s)Support projects that will improve operational performance metrics.Work to develop standardized templates for both analysis and client presentations that can be leverages both on the Director’s specific client but also across other R1 clientsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Extensive acute revenue cycle experience 3-4 years of operational backend experiencePrior experience of at least 3-4 years with a strong emphasis on operations, finance and data analyticsMust be able to think outside the box approach to drive operational excellence even when faced with challenges or barriersCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervisionMust be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actionAbility to build engagement to drive effective resultsDemonstrated successful project management skills and implementation of complex multiple system integrationsMust be highly organized and able to coordinate many simultaneous activities professional presentations, consulting and communication skillsExperience solving problems in fast paced high pressure situationsProven ability to look at the world through the eyes of others and interpret business needs in a way that drives the success of othersStrong financial, economic, analytical and technical acumenStrong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively across groupsConflict/Negotiation management skillsAttention to detail, highly organized and strong process-focused aptitudePossess strong leadership and organizational skills and can positively influence othersAbility to think creatively, be analytically minded, objective and independentCan deal with ambiguity and thrive in a highly dynamic environmentDemonstrated ability to negotiate and provide alternative business solutions

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $47,237.00 - $78,919.86 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
