We currently have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This position will deliver the services including all reactive maintenance and project work called for under the scope of our contract with ADF through the management and administration of our team of maintenance technicians and specialist sub-contractors.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, this role requires working in a challenging and sensitive Defence Force environment, often under pressure and dealing with conflicting priorities. The position therefore requires the individual to plan, organise, and prioritise their work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
Delivery of service while working with and assisting the Operations Manager in the overall strategic lifecycle management of all buildings and assets. Plan and schedule own work to meet required timelines and outputs. Follow policies and procedures as relevant to scope of role and general employment. Personal accountability over quality of personal and team output. Ensure risks are accurately identified, contained and countermeasures are put in place. Assist in measuring costs, efficiencies, and delivery of services and support service improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring
Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance (must be an Australian Citizen) A tertiary qualification in either Business Management or Administration or other relevant qualification or experience. Technical expertise and trade qualifications in either building, electrical or mechanical disciplines. A high level of computer literacy including experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications and ability to use company specific databases and online systems. Experience in Facility Management (Hard FM & Grounds) Maintenance Engineering/Planning experience, including previous experience in Project management. Business management experience including finance, admin, and Quality Assurance.
