We are seeking a Unified Communication Service Delivery Manager who will be responsible for the strategy and technology roadmap of Audio Visual Services to enable seamless hybrid collaboration. This role also includes leveraging Audio Visual Technology in Smith+Nephew's Medical Education Facilities to showcase our products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), creating a lasting impression on visitors and course attendees.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. They should have proven experience in managing global IT and Audio/Visual services, with a strong focus on engaging business stakeholders and end users as critical success factors.
As the Service Delivery Manager for Audio Visual Services, you will be accountable for the service strategy, technology roadmap, lifecycle management, service development, and performance delivery of Smith+Nephew's Audio Visual services, with a particular focus on globally deployed technologies across S+N offices.
Audio Visual Services Overview The Audio Visual (AV) services encompass:
Conference Room Technology: Solutions range from a basic TV mounted on a wall to fully integrated systems, including voice and video equipment, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and complex setups with control units, advanced audio DSPs (Digital Signal Processors), and divisible spaces requiring sophisticated configurations.Digital Signage: From scheduling panels outside meeting spaces to displays for corporate communications or near real-time process data.What will you be doing?
Oversee end-to-end service delivery for Audio Visual (AV) services, ensuring availability, reliability, and continuity within agreed service levelsTranslate business requirements into globally aligned technical solutions through AV demand management and project deliveryManage service vendors, including on-boarding, performance monitoring, and ensuring adherence to security and architectural standardsPlan and lead AV projects, ensuring scope, schedule, financial, and quality commitments are met using agile methodologiesEvaluate existing AV technologies, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to voice, video, and collaboration infrastructureProactively monitor AV systems to identify and resolve issues before they impact end-users, leveraging metrics-based management practicesCollaborate with IT competency centers and shared services teams to ensure seamless and efficient service deliveryWhat will you need to be successful?
Over 10 years of IT or AV integrator experience, including at least 5 years in service and delivery management roles within global, complex environmentsStrong understanding of End User Computing Services, digital workplace technologies, and hybrid working environmentsExceptional communication and negotiation skills in English, with the ability to operate effectively in multicultural, global settingsSelf-driven and accountable, with a collaboative mindset and the ability to align efforts toward common goals in a VUCA environmentAnalytical and results-oriented, with expertise in designing, planning, and delivering projects to meet time, cost, and quality targetsHands-on experience with AV technologies, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and hybrid collaboration or digital workplace solutionsYou.
