What’s the role?

The Service Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of responsive and high-quality IT services within the "Regional Service Hub." This entry-level position focuses on performing initial troubleshooting and resolving basic IT issues before escalating them to higher-level support tiers, such as Service Delivery Specialists II, Senior, Lead SD members, the Regional Technical Center, or Corporate IT. The role requires versatility across technical areas to effectively support end-user tasks and activities in alignment with regional Service Delivery standards, procedures, and processes. This ensures a consistently high level of user satisfaction. Additionally, the Service Delivery Specialist I serves as the primary liaison for all ZEISS business group users within the service region.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining the desktop environment.

Troubleshooting and performing first level break fix on Windows based systems.

Troubleshoot and fix or escalate local Networking issues.

Maintain KPI in service requests and escalate issues when necessary.

Monitor active issues and maintain communication with the end users.

Configure and troubleshoot iOS devices and MDM for end users.

Install configure and maintain peripherals as needed.

Remote end user support for all Business Groups in the US Canada Region.

Do you qualify?

College Degree, Technical training, or certifications desired.

Minimum of 2 years of IT and Service Delivery Support experience required.

Experience in performing hardware fix and upgrade on desktop and laptop devices.

Expertise in Windows 10, 11 Operating system, MS office 365, MS Teams and Apple iOS.

Experience in effectively troubleshooting local network environment.

Knowledge in MS concepts such as DHCP, DNS.

Service Now and TeamViewer experience a plus.

Microsoft Certification in the area of responsibility a plus.

Must be capable of in person and Remote end user support with good customer support skills.

Compensation:

The annual pay range for this position is $55,000 – $69,000

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.  ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
