We’re looking for a Service Desk Team Lead to oversee the corporate IT systems and services for our GP AU/NZ teams. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll ensure our staff have the tools and support they need to deliver exceptional service to customers.
Your primary focus will be leading our IT operations team, providing technical guidance, people leadership, and strategic direction across Oceania. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices for infrastructure management across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage corporate enablement services, including their infrastructure and cloud environments.Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals.Oversee strategic planning for team growth and evolving technologies.Manage and prioritize workloads, ensuring operational efficiency.Apply ITIL frameworks to resolve escalated issues effectively.Design, implement, and maintain system and application monitoring solutions.About YouYou’re an experienced IT leader with a strong grasp of modern infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS best practices. With a hands-on approach, you thrive in technical environments, designing scalable solutions with security and distributed system considerations in mind.
You bring:
A tertiary qualification in IT or a related field.3+ years of experience managing technical teams.Strong knowledge of web technologies, including performance monitoring and end-user experience optimization.Proven stakeholder management skills, ideally in a multinational environment.Moderate experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code.A working knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferred).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.SalaryThe salary range for this role is $120, 000 – 130, 000 per annum + superannuation.
