What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking an entry level help desk technician to support our clients. The successful candidate will have a degree, strong curiosity and willingness to:

Respond promptly to end-user inquiries, providing basic troubleshooting for common technical issues.Offer clear instructions and guidance to resolve user problems and improve their understanding of available IT tools.Accurately log, track, and update support tickets, ensuring all issues are well-documented.Escalate more complex or unresolved issues to senior technicians or appropriate departments as instructed.Work closely with senior technicians and team members to gain exposure to new technologies and support procedures.Attend training sessions and seek feedback to continually develop technical and customer service skills.Follow established service desk processes and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality support.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and user satisfaction.Maintain clear, concise records of all interactions, including troubleshooting steps and outcomes.Assist in creating and updating basic help guides and internal knowledge base articles.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and customer service abilities.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.This is a hybrid role which requires you to be within a commutable distance and have the ability to work out of Arlington, VA or at a client site in the DC Metro a minimum of 2 (two) times per week.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a STEM related field.Certs: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation
