Job Title: Service Electrician

Job Description

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances in commercial settings. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures. Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations. Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers. Ensure installations are in compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all work activities.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.Ensure installations are in compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards.Respond to emergency calls and service requests to address electrical issues promptly.Estimate and prepare material and labor projections for electrical service calls, projects, and repairs.Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely completion of work and customer satisfaction.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components.Experience in troubleshooting electrical problems and implementing corrective actions.Capability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.Skill in using hand tools and pulling wire.Experience in leading crews in the field.Proficiency in panel wiring and electrical wiring.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with construction and commercial environments.Familiarity with conduit, wiring, and termination.Knowledge of cat6 installation.Why Work Here?
