Wärtsilä BLRT Estonia OÜ opens a vacancy for a Service Engineer E& A located in Tallinn.
Main responsibilities:
Execute planned and corrective maintenance/repairs on electrical and automation systems of Wärtsilä power/energy solutions. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues, providing effective solutions to restore system functionality. Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams regarding electrical and automation systems. Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards. Interact with customers during the work execution. Service reporting. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Wärtsilä's quality standards, safety protocols, and ISO procedures. Fulfill tasks and assignments as directed by the Service Coordinator and work closely with the other team members to coordinate service activities and share technical knowledge.
Skills and competencies for the suitable candidate:
Good general electrical and automation process background. Preferably marine engineering background, and knowledge of electronic & PLC control systems. Previous experience in electrical and automation maintenance, preferably in the marine/energy sector. Education: Automation/Electrical/Marine Engineering or a related field. Experience with Wärtsilä power & energy systems and products is beneficial. Ability to understand, use, and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Estonian or Russian is an advantage. Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Service-minded, problem-solving skills, structured, good attention to detail. Competent in the use of PC software, including MS Office. Willing to travel to customer sites as required.
