Purpose of Role: The Service Engineer is responsible for executing maintenance activities in Turkey in compliance with Weir's operational procedures and safety standards. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting, builds strong customer relationships to position Weir Minerals as the preferred service provider, and actively supports anti-replication strategies. The Service Engineer specializes in on-site equipment servicing, provides detailed condition reports  and supports the full Weir product portfolio, including rebuilds and assemblies at the service center when required. Additionally, they oversee stock counts at customer sites to optimize service efficiency and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of Weir Minerals equipment across Turkey, ensuring adherence to company operational procedures and strict compliance with safety standards.

Prepare and submit comprehensive service and equipment condition reports in English, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with reporting protocols.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to position Weir Minerals as the preferred service provider for all Weir equipment.

Proactively support and implement Weir Minerals’ strategies to mitigate the impact of equipment replication in the market.

Provide expert-level servicing, troubleshooting, and optimization of Weir Minerals equipment at customer sites.

Assist in the rebuild, assembly, and refurbishment of Weir products at the designated service center when required.

Conduct stock counts at customer sites, ensuring accurate records and optimal inventory management to support maintenance activities.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technician.

Working experience in maintenance and commissioning work.

Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Driving licence is mandatory

Military task should be completed

No obstacle to travel and to spend %50 of working time on site
