As a Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in leading deployment and migration services, managing customer relationships, and driving positive business outcomes. This role requires a high level of collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The Service Engineer will also be involved in sales opportunity pursuits and presales support, identifying new project opportunities, and managing customer expectations. Professional development is a key aspect of this role, with a focus on maintaining up-to-date knowledge of AvePoint products and Microsoft updates. The role may require travel for delivery engagements and presales. 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Service Delivery and Customer Management: Lead deployment and migration services, conduct workshops with customers, and manage customer expectations professionally. Collaborate with various teams including sales, support, customer success, technical account management, apps team, and product team. Project Management: Collaborate with the project team on assigned projects, ensure accurate time tracking, and keep the project manager updated on project status. Manage multiple projects efficiently and ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner. Deliverable Tracking: Track project milestones and completion status, collaborate with the project team on project plans, and manage customer expectations and deliverables. Sales Opportunity Pursuit and Presales Support: Handle pursuit activities including opportunity generation, collateral creation, pricing guidance, and customer-facing scoping sessions. Identify new project opportunities and support self-generated leads through opportunity closure. Professional Development: Uphold the core values of AvePoint, continue to procure and renew relevant certifications, and stay updated on AvePoint product and Microsoft updates. Travel: Be available to travel for delivery engagements and presales when requested. Product Knowledge: Maintain competence in base AvePoint products and general knowledge of on-premise SharePoint and Microsoft 365.


What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. With proven 6-10yrs experience working IT services delivery or support. Excellent project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning. Relevant certifications in SharePoint, Office 365, Azure are preferred. Amenable to work US shift (typically US EST 8AM-5PM) Amenable to work hybrid set-up (3x onsite, 2x WFH weekly)
