Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.

Essential Functions:
Collaborates with broader engineering team members to support personal growth, or growth and development of others Collects metrics (such as service availability data, performance measures, system health, and long-term trends) to support service intelligence analysis. Ensures that production solutions are reliable, resilient, secure and effective and continuously monitored. Participates in triaging and uses problem management tools (such as root cause analysis, trend analysis, and postmortems). Contributes to and implements a solution. Uses expertise to identify process or technology solutions to identify and resolve platform, system, deployment and environmental issues prior to solution release, and that ensure an on-time release with predictable high quality. Maximizes the effectiveness of financial resources. Performs advanced troubleshooting and identifies or engineers solutions for service issues to restore service with minimal disruption to the caregiver and business. Owns the problem, solving it once and for all. Extrapolates from past experiences and delivers innovations. Analyzes the current service delivery system and uses his or her judgment to identify improvements that enable the team to create a system that supports service delivery and meets KPIs.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering Or equivalent educ/experience 2 years Related experience Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes Experience with n-tier solutions Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually)Preferred Qualifications:
2-5 years Related experience Experience in a Healthcare environment Azure certification Server management and support familiarity Comprehension of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow and Azure Dev Ops (ADO)Salary Range by Location:
