Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer support and troubleshooting via phone and emailAnalyze malfunctioning measurement systems and determine corrective action, replace faulty components, and make necessary adjustments and alignmentsSpare part managementPrepare and submits reports covering all job activities with accuracy and detailParticipate in on-the-job training of field service personnel when requiredSuggest methods to offer improvement to equipment performance and functionalityKeep up-to-date on new product and product changes within his/her required sphere of activity to increase own capabilities and skillsTravel to customer locations worldwide up to 70%Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to written proceduresConduct all field assignments according to service department proceduresPerform other tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

You have already gained initial experience in the field of measurement technology or mechanical engineering (professional experience and/or technical studies / HTL)A positive approach to dealing with our customers and a committed, professional manner are a matter of courseWillingness to travel internationally up to 70%We are looking for an independent person with a wide range of interests and a hands-on mentality.Very good English and German language skills are necessary to ensure communication with customers and colleagues.
