Service Fulfilment Operations Developer

For this role a university degree in Logistics, Economics or business administration is preferred or relevant work experience. You bring with you 2-4 years working experience where you were used to work with different stakeholders and external partners. You have proven analytical and numerical skills and use your know-how to develop the service fulfillment with high quality understanding the financial impact and customer experience. You have high proficiency in Microsoft Office and IKEA applications. You have knowledge and experience of meeting, influencing and interacting with various business partners.
As a person you have a strong collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organization and use your excellent communication and negotiation skills. You have the ability to identify need and drive change within the organization acting in multi-cultural, interdependent and matrix environments in a fast-changing environment. You have capability to translate business and customer needs into development initiatives and actions with an end-to-end approach. Key responsibilities (title) What you'll be doing day to day Key responsibilities (text) In a time where the buying behavior of IKEA customers constantly changes and the demand for services in general is increasing, you as a service fulfillment operations developer are responsible to bring the last leg of IKEA’s supply chain to the next level. The last leg of IKEA’s supply chain is often the most critical, given it’s one of the last steps before IKEA’s products reaches the customer.

You are part of the Service Fulfillment Operations team and together responsible for operational excellence, performance and development of the fulfillment of affordable core services like:

• Customer delivery - transporting customer orders
• Assembly of home furniture
• Kitchen installation
• Bathroom installation

• Responsible for securing high performing daily operations connected to service fulfillment
• Responsible to secure excellence in operations and quality
• Responsible for short, mid and long-term operational development of existing service partner(s)
• Responsible for ensuring short and mid-term capacities and resources
• Responsible for securing efficiency and implementing improvements

In this role you will report to the Service Fulfillment Operations Manager. This role is located in Service Office, Zaventem. The role includes travelling to the stores and Fulfillment Unit/s.
