This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience through a temporary work placement. You will get to support the service team in understanding service works including field work, site safety, material and equipment preparation, as well as learning ABB’s technology and innovation within the Marine and Ports business.The work mode for this role is: OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Marine and Ports Division of ABB, Singapore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAssisting Field Service Specialist & Manager in executing medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB Standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. •\tSupporting in servicing works including installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on site-activities.•\tAssisting in the team in coordinating, preparing, and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities•\tDelivering high level of service to customers.

Qualifications for the role

You are currently a student of a relevant Engineering disciplines.Passionate and interested in learning field works and service business.Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.You are at ease in communicating in English.You have work rights in Singapore
