The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is looking for a Clinical Coordinator - Service Line RN to join the Operating Room. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities.
The newly created role is part of the Periop Nursing Leadership team and the candidate must collaborate with clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination and training of both our new to practice nurses as well as ongoing education and refinement of nursing skills. Eligible candidates must possess strong foundational skills in intraoperative nursing and display confidence and expertise across service lines. As part of the Periop Quality and Education team, eligible candidates will work collaboratively to reinforce education and fundamental concepts, provide mentorship, serve as resource to staff, be flexible to the changing needs of the department, be self-directed to complete all responsibilities independently, possess strong organizational skills and display professionalism at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
A minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
Graduate of an NLN approved school of professional nursing.
Currently licensed as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
