SUMMARY:

\n\n\n\n\tManage the Service Management Team including the Service Desk, support the in-country network infrastructure and telecommunication requirements, implement the local and global technical/IT projects and work closely with Regional BIT to ensure compliance with global IT standards.\n\n\n\n

\n\nKEY ACTIVITIES:\n\n\n\n\n\tTo manage the infrastructure, technical support and telecommunications for PH\n\tDirecting the establishment of continuallycomputer network and associated services\n\tRationalising the deploymentof servers in order to providehigh service levels at an appropriate cost\n\tPlanning and overseeing all hardware, software andservice purchases in line with the area and country IS budget.\n\tPlannint the provision for security, availability, resilience and performance\n\tProviding advice and recommendations on the selection of network related hardware and software\n\tIdentifying and evaluating network services, network hardware and software tools available in AP\n\tDocumentation of all networks\n\tTo manage the HelpDesk to resolve issues in a timely manner.\n\tExternal customers: Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc.\n\tProactive member of the IT Management team\n\n\n

Peole Management

\n\n\n\n\tDevelop a high performance service culture within the functional department.\n\tPlan, organise and direct an efficient and effective functional department.\n\tDevelop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.\n\tConduct performance appraisal.\n\tManage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.\n\tIdentify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.\n\n

YOUR PROFILE:\n\n\n\n\nExhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.\n\nAnalyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.\n\nWell-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.\n\nCommunication skills (English), spoken and written (excellent)\n\nTechnical expertise in:\n\n\n\tWide Area Networking of various types (e.g. MPLS, ATM, Frame\n\tRelay, leased line, ISDN, VSAT)\n\tFrame Relay, MPLS and X.25 technologies\n\tHigh speed Local Area Networks based on Ethernet technology\n\tLocal to Wide Area network connections\n\tTCP/IP and other protocols\n\tVarious types of network switching equipment\n\tDHL proprietary communications software\n\tWindows Operating Systems\n\tUnix Operating System (depending on local applications)\n\tInformix 4GL and Database (depending on local applications)\n\tElectronic Mail service management\n\tInternet/Intranet technologies\n\tIT Infrastructure management, Data centres PCs, Notebooks and Servers\n\n\n\n
