Service Management Specialist

Summary of the Role

As a Global Service Management Specialist, you will contribute to a dedicated business domain, focusing on the standardization and streamlining of service opportunities.

In this role, you will:

Engage in the full-service management cycle, from collecting customer requirements to translating them into service designs (Scoping to Solution).

Support preparing business cases and commercial proposals, ensuring the right level of margin and deliverables.

Collaborate with various business domains for the continuous development of existing and new services, manage resource demand, and promote the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.

Monitor delivery by tracking time reported and invoiced.

About the Ideal Candidate

Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Proactive and self-motivated.

Project management skills.

Understanding of financial frameworks (cost, revenue, margin).

Proficient in presentation skills and familiar with tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel or equivalent.

Project management skills is a plus.

Experience in Airline/Aviation Industry is a plus

Business Environment The Airlines Global Services team manages a portfolio of service capabilities offered to airline customers alongside Amadeus solutions. We bring together the right expertise and knowledge to help airlines solve their specific challenges and optimize the use of our solutions to the maximum.

The Airlines Services team works closely with Amadeus’ business domains and transversal units to ensure revenue growth, cost efficiency, and the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Mission and Vision of the Team We oversee the entire service opportunity management process, from identifying customer needs and defining services in collaboration with account managers and customers, to preparing commercial proposals, managing demand, and consolidating efforts with R&D (Research and Development), Service Engineering, Delivery Teams, and overseeing delivery management and execution.
