The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Technical Field Service Manager to our growing team in to provide excellent administrative support. In this role, you will lead, mentor and develop a large truck-based Field Team(Union staff),takes on a proactive role with market, industry and technology trends and plan and set teams up for optimized delivery of services. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:
Ensures compliance with licensing, training, and accreditations to maintain leadership position in the industry. Assists Director of Ops in financial management of mobile service group, including cost management strategies. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including detailed analysis as needed, to Operations Director in the areas of operational key performance indicators, staffing, scheduling, and tactical operational opportunities. Ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget Handles escalated support service issues with clients within Service and takes appropriate action to resolve the escalated issues. Works collaboratively with Service project management team and others outside of the Facility Services, acting as the primary Facility Services representative for proposals, projects or other work. Communicates relevant McKinstry and client policies and procedures to ensure employee compliance. Responsible for driving field safety. Determine field strategies to drive efficiency and change management to optimize processes. Maintain high-quality service delivery of services in an efficient, productive and profitable manner. Manges a field truck-based technician team up to 80 individualsWhat You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
10 years HVAC field experience required. 5 years in a supervisory role in a support-oriented environment preferred. Service-orientation required. Experiencing managing people in a Union environment preferred. Experience working in mechanical service business required (HVAC and Plumbing focus preferred). Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.PeopleFirst Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75,900 - $114,900 per year; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
