Service Manager - CTP Claims
The opportunity

• Location: Parramatta
• Fixed Term opportunity from May 2025 - March 2026

The key responsibilities for this role include the following, but not limited to:
Supervises the day-to-day activities of the assigned CTP claims unit and provides advice to team on claims management, policy guidelines and quality
Initiate new ideas and concepts to support the development and delivery of the business plan for the business unit.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of claims management strategies and objectives
Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both statutory and corporate service standards and statutory regulations
Continuous business process improvement including process and cost efficiencies/synergies
Setting reserves and authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements
Handling of complaints and investigations of suspicious/fraudulent insurance claims
Provide technical expertise and mentoring to assist the team development
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Leadership and CTP claims experience a must
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A natural relationship builder with solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills
Capacity for self-reflection and ability to work well in a team
