Service Manager (m/w/d)

Are you ready to take a new role as a Service Manager?  By joining our team in Korschenbroich, Rhineland, you will become part of Sempell GmbH (Emerson Group, Final Control Business Unit), one of the world's leading valve manufacturers and suppliers of conventional, nuclear power plants and the chemical industry with control, safety and shut-off valves!

Within this role you drive and own Sempell Service business (Peitz & Korschenbroich sites). Your aim is to target Operational Perfect Execution without any compromise e.g. on Nuclear Safety and Quality. Furthermore you develop Best-in-Class Organization for Premium Services and drive Installed Base Management with highest Nuclear Safety standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Ensure business is conducted to achieve Global Nuclear Safety and in accordance with the Company Ethics policy, Quality System and Trade Compliance procedures Develop unique expertise from Emerson Service Engineers, with high-level recognized Seniority and anticipate Succession plans Be proactive on Innovation, Digitalization and Engineering Services with knowledge on SMART Instrumentation and exclusive proprietary Diagnostic Tools development. Sales advertisement to end-user Coordinate with Engineering for Site Troubleshooting’s resolution with High-level of reactivity Grow Sempell Nuclear Service with focus on Critical Applications (PSRV Task Force, Sesitest Diagnostics) with global market coverage Proactively identify and develop Service opportunities on LTSA´s, STO´s, Spare Parts and internal/external Trainings Establish high-level LTSA´s at key position in our Customer base in close co-operation with NBU Sales force with UAE, LAM, South Korea penetration on top of China & Europe Installed Base Implement solid processes to integrate Peitz under Korschenbroich Quality manual and develop solid connections for all critical functions (Sales, Procurement, Finance). Use SAP for all transactions based on Korschenbroich service model.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Mechanical or process engineering degree Knowledge of Nuclear Service Solutions and Valve Service Business Basic of Radiation Hygiene principles Strong Service & Solution orientation Ability to recognize problems in a complex technical environment Language skills German & English mandatory

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Willingness to travel High stress & frustration resistance Proficient PC office applications. MS Word/Excel, Power Point etc. General knowledge of modern IT-Technology
