Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Service Now Consultant in Washington, District of Columbia. As a Service Now Consultant, you will be involved in the administration of ServiceNow Discovery, ITAM, and CMDB, customization of discovery patterns using various scripting languages, and maintaining an understanding of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities • Administer ServiceNow Discovery, ITAM, and CMDB with precision • Customize discovery patterns using scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud platforms • Utilize your knowledge of Service ITAM effectively • Implement your expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, ServiceNow Modules, and ServiceNow Platform for efficient service delivery Requirements • Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM is essential for this role. • Must have in-depth knowledge of various ServiceNow Modules. • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing the ServiceNow Platform is required. • Previous experience in ServiceNow Implementation is highly desirable. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform. • Proven track record of improving processes through ServiceNow platform. • Ability to provide training and support to other team members in ServiceNow operations. • Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team and clients. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands and priorities. • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
