We are looking for a Service Operations Manager - EMEA. This is an in-person role, based in Delft, Netherlands with 25% domestic and international travel.
The Service Operations Manager - EMEA is responsible for overseeing and driving operational excellence across the Delft, Fellbach, and Middle East service sites.
This role ensures efficient service delivery, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD), revenue growth, and billable hours.
This position is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence, Lean transformation, and driving measurable results in a customer-focused service environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Operational Leadership & Performance Management: Lead and oversee service operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent and high-performing processes, develop action plans to address performance gaps and identify opportunities for growth, align site activities with organizational goals and standardize operational practices across all service locations. You will also oversee the implementation process for ISO 17025.
Continuous Improvment: Build a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring site leads and teams, drive lean conversions across the EMEA service sites, implementing tools and processes & lead Kaizen events
Team Development and Collaboration: Manage daily lab operations, provide training to staff , provide guidance and mentorship to Service Operations Site Leads, collaborate with cross-functional teams, Sales, Operations, CSS, and R&D to align resources and priorities
The essential requirements of the job include:
Proven experience in managing service or operations sites, with a track record of achieving operational excellence.
Strong expertise in Lean methodologies, with hands-on experience driving successful lean transformations.
Demonstrated ability to deliver on key metrics such as OTD, revenue, and productivity.
Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
