The Service Operations Manager will manage assigned fire service agreements which includes achieving financial success, customer satisfaction, and retention targets. You will also manage a team of Fire Client Service Managers and Coordinators.
As a Service Operations Manager, you will:
Implement process improvement measures to improve fire team efficiency and effectiveness Reconcile and generate monthly fire service reports for internal and external meetings Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to and identify areas of improvement Guide the development and use of a master schedule to deliver fire service to the customer Lead quality assurance activities and support the renewal process Assist with the billing process and ensure timely and accurate closure of PM and reactive service tickets Maximize utilization, absorption, and productivity Lead, implement, manage, and monitor best field practices, related employee development and compliancy to company initiatives and policies to achieve service branch gross profit and divisional sales volume Ensure PO’s are obtained and process by established guidelines Work directly with customers to develop comprehensive, integrated service programs for fire and when possible other service disciples Ensure that all required administrative processes for field activities are timely and accurate Identify and action training and development needs for employees Provide mentoring and on-going technical support to service staff Support the other departments including Solutions, Sales, Energy, Warehouse and FSS Ensure that the supervisor requirements of the health and safety policies are met. Conduct regular workplace safety visitsYou will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of industry knowledge and experience with one or all of the following: Building Automation, HVAC, Fire, or Security systems Management and people leadership experience in leading a team of Technicians Excellent negotiation, verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with customers, vendors, and employees Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a P&L Proficient with MS Office High school diploma or state-recognized GED Ability to travel as requiredLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
