Tessera is seeking a positive and professional Service Order Dispatch Clerk with a team-oriented attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: + Manage incoming requests for maintenance, repairs, or other facility-related services, document them accurately in a system. + Based on the severity and urgency of the request, assign work orders to the appropriate scheduler or maintenance staff. + Track on the status of work orders, ensure timely completion and provide updates to requesters as needed. + Serve as a liaison between requesters, maintenance staff, schedulers, and managers. Facilitate clear communication and efficient coordination. + Keep accurate records of all work orders, maintenance activities, and related documentation. + Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. + Answer general inquiries about facility policies, procedures, or ongoing maintenance projects. + May be directed to change status of work in the Centralized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Contribute to a supportive team environment. Qualifications: + Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with various customers. + The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests simultaneously, and maintain accurate records is crucial. + Basic understanding of facilities systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is helpful for understanding and prioritizing requests. + Experience with work order management systems, databases, and other relevant software is often required. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. + Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. + May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. + Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. + Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
