Service Order Dispatcher
**Description** **Schedule** Monday-Wednesday 6pm-6am, Every other Thursday 6pm-6am. **General Summary** Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered. + Prepares work order and distributes to service crew + Schedules service call and dispatches service crew. + Calls or writes customer to insure satisfactory performance of service. + Keeps record of service calls and work orders. + May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment. **Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements** + Must have high school diploma or GED. + Minimum of 2 years experience in a dispatch position. + Strong written and oral communication skills in English. + Strong interpersonal skills. + Strong organization skills. **Work Environment** + Be able to stand, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stretch for extended period of time. + Be able to lift 25 lbs _This job description is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change._ **We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.** Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
