Service Parts Engineering Manager

The leader manages the department to deliver service products for all non-warranty and some in warranty applications for engine, powertrain, transmission, body and chassis, electrical, fluids and chemicals used by FCSD's dealers, distributors, and retails customers and manage the SPW spend associated with these parts. Location: WHQ, Dearborn, MI. The team works in-person with limited home office. **What you'll do...** •Manages the strategic intent and daily operations of the Service Parts Engineering Team •Delivers cycle plans and drives the acceleration of filing product gaps as identified by the PCM teams •Daily Management Meetings with team to drive priorities and outcomes •Actively removes roadblocks •Performance tracking and visibility throughout organization •Operational excellence including training, GEMBAs, tools & resources for team •Manages the budget and allocation to critical activities •Participates in the development of the Reman and Aftermarket strategies •Responsible for engineering sign-off of the products developed •Leads oversight for utilization of the Ford Operating System, materials filings and report-outs. •Utilizes the FoS framework including Bowler and Action Plans •Weekly report outs with leadership •Monthly Customer Success Review •Daily Stand-ups •Coordinates all work requests and initiatives to achieve maximum utilization of department resources. •Main interfaces include Product Category Management, Purchasing, Product Development, SEO, STA, Marketing, Core Inventory Management, and Service Parts Suppliers. •Develops Team and Fosters Collaboration •Creates a collaborative work space for the team to thrive •Development plan for each team member including succession planning •Meaningful 1:1 discussions with direct reports •Provides regular recognition using Recognition+ and other forums. •Ensure all employees have the appropriate training and support to achieve outlined objectives. •Develop and Maintain the Engineering Reman.
