Where is the work: 

Hybrid: 

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week, and will report to the Miramar, FL office.   

  

JOB SUMMARY: 

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Service Project Administrator in our Miramar, FL office.

As a Service Project Administrator II, under limited supervision, you are responsible for project set up and seeing them through to full completion with direct responsibility for project execution, to accomplish specific goals in a given time frame and with limited resources.  This includes project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of each project.  This position is required to closely interact with customers, Project Managers, and other assigned project staff to ensure the timely completion of each project 

  

Responsibilities:

Plans and reviews assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system goals.  Sets-up service agreements in system application based on transition documents. Establishes and measures internal service process and associated compliance. Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.  Connect and communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.  Schedule and participate in internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information. Validates cost to date and reconciles project data in business system. Reconciliation of purchase order discrepancies to support the Service fulfillment process. Reviews billing backlog and coordinates/communicates with Project Managers, HVAC Field Technicians, customers, and Trane claims as necessary to resolve obstacles. 

Qualifications: 

One-year certificate from college or technical school; OR three (3) plus years of related experience and/ or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.  Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities Experience reviewing contracts and/or agreements will be an asset.  Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team. Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment. Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required. Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required. 

Compensation:   

Compensation Base Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 / annually.
