We are seeking a dedicated NDT Inspector to join our Aerospace team in Gul Circle, Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and assist Repair Operations team in NDT Process and inspection on aerospace components in the test methods such as FPI, MPI.Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable manuals such as NDT Honeywell Manual, CMM, IRM, SPMIdentify and document defects in materials, structures, and componentsCan prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspection resultsCollaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with quality control and safety standardsTrain and mentor junior inspectorsAttend audits with regulatory, customer and internal network audit Build and sustain the performance of the production line with minimal disruptions to the operations in terms of yield, rework, scrapImplement new process or methods in ensuring the productivity of the line through continuous improvement methodologies Build an integrative inspection procedure to suit the end deliverables of the siteMUST HAVE:
Educational background: NITEC/NTC/ITE or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT testing and inspection (FPI, MPI)Certification in relevant NDT methods (FPI Level II or MPI Level II, or equivalent) Proficient in the use of NDT equipment and softwareKnowledge of various NDT techniques such as magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing, and visual testingAbility to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, develop analysis and make recommendations.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or anomalies
