Summary:
Responsible for receiving all Facilities and Security related information via telephone, fax or email. First point of contact for Facilities and Security whose primary responsibility is to initiate the appropriate response to our caller's needs. Responsible to create and dispatch work orders and other assignments via radio communication to Security and/or Facilities. Needs to be calm, clear and in control, especially in an emergency. Monitor various alarm systems, make appropriate overhead announcements when needed at the appropriate location, as well as document and log all telephone calls and alarms. Monitor the Security cameras, badge tap alarms, BAS alarms and handle Code Red and Panic alarms for the hospitals. This includes but, is not limited to contacting 911, announcing the Code Red overhead at the appropriate hospital, whether a real fire or a drill. Must be able to problem solve, handle multiple calls and emergencies while providing excellent customer service.
