Job Description:

Qualifications or Qualifying Experience:

• 5 -10 years IT experience in management within a large-scale technology environment

• Tertiary qualifications preferable

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge and understanding in any of the technology below

o Batch Job: Filetransfer, Feedhub, Autosys and Batch

o Webhosting/Middleware: Weblogic and JBOSS

o Database: Oracle, MySQL and SQL

o Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, Azure App Insight

o Platform: Linux, RedHat and Windows

o Cloud Technologies: Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Web o Scripting/ Automation: Powershell, Bash, Ansible and Artifactory

o DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, AutoRabit

o Ticketing Tools: Jira-Confluence, SNOW, SM9

Others: Informatica, OpenShift, EDH, Cognos

• Understanding of commercial context of industry

• Working knowledge of ITIL (with at least Foundations certification) with preference to executing in the environment

• A broad understanding of the vast range of IT operations and DXC service offerings

• Ability to fully understand and manage capability-related work and to drive a diverse team of employees and suppliers to delivery within rigorous DXC requirements

Description

The Account Run Lead (ARL) is a key role which brings together all Run Delivery services and activities to the Account and the Customer. The ARL acts as the client facing delivery Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for their customer and ensures accountability in the delivery model. Working as a member of the Run Services team, the ARL will have line of sight to the contractual services sold to the customer and represent the single interface to the Service Delivery Executive (SDE) for those services. The ARL role is a key part of the Account Delivery engagement team and will advise the SDE and customer on recommendations for improvements to infrastructure and supported services to enable the Account to be green while demonstrating the innovation DXC brings to our customers. The ARL will have end-to-end accountability for a sold service and outcomes for a customer across regional boundaries. This includes meeting Run contractual SLAs, including Incident Time-To-Resolve (TTR), Availability SLAs, Problem RCA turn-around time and Change success and all defined KPI and measures of success.
