Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative services and/or secretarial assistance at an organization or business level. Each day, you will perform complex administrative tasks. You will also showcase your expertise by taking ownership of delivering specific business processes/programs.The work model for the role is: #Li_hybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:•Sell services such as spare parts, training, AMC, and installation audits to end-users. Ensure competitive offers considering market conditions and customer needs.•Track and penetrate into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and B&R. Understand channel strategy, establish related pricing, and prepare plans to win opportunities.•Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trends and identifying potential new service portfolios. Act as a marketer/salesperson for B&R’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).•Identify, define, and execute the best strategy to create a strong pull for the B&R brand within assigned accounts. Aim to get B&R as a prescription. Track end-user satisfaction and ensure resolution of issues by coordinating with OEM, Support, and Service teams. Escalate complex cases internally for faster resolution. Track CAPEX investments from end-user markets and keep the OEM and PFA teams informed.•Apply a high level of business acumen, including understanding customer business drivers, industry trends, economic factors, and competition. Coordinate activities with other ABB Group business units and partner with other ABB sales organizations to enhance the overall brand value of B&R.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics from well know universitiesPreferred 2-4 years of sales experience within Indian business environment, preferably in multinational companies Work experience in B&R or competitor Automation systems is must like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems Knowledge of Mechatronics system like Linear Transport System, Vision, Robots are added advantageIndustry-Specific Knowledge: Experience in the Industries and utility segmentsFluent English, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Flexibility to travel up to 60%
