Service Sales Manager – Electrification and Automation
As a Services Sales Manager for Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation, you will be responsible for driving service business growth within the electrification and automation portfolio. This includes selling advanced solutions to clients across industries, with a focus on electrification, automation systems, and their integration into smart infrastructures. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, engage in business development, and close deals, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence 
• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in Siemens Smart Infrastructure electrification and automation services. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries. Understand customer pain points and design tailored solutions to meet their needs, driving the value proposition of Siemens services. • Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new leads within various market segments such as commercial, industrial, and utility sectors. Leverage existing networks and channels to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the electrification and automation services. • Sales Performance & Quota Management: Manage and achieve individual and team sales targets to meet and exceed performance goals. Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, track progress, and forecast sales accurately. • Proposal Management & Negotiation: Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, bids, and contracts to prospective clients. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the technical team to ensure alignment between customer needs and service offerings. Collaborate with marketing and project delivery teams to provide seamless service execution and customer experience. • Market Insights & Reporting: Stay informed on industry trends, technological innovations, and Siemens product offerings in electrification and automation. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and potential risks. 
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:• Sales & Technical Experience: 5+ years of experience in service sales, business development, or account management within the electrification, automation, or energy sectors. Substation product knowledge and project management experience are a plus. Proven track record of success in selling complex technical solutions, preferably related to smart infrastructure substation, automation, or energy management. • Skills: Strong understanding of electrification and automation solutions, including substation automation systems, electrical distribution, and control systems. Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with customers and collaborating across teams. Knowledge of project management practices and service delivery. • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Other: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and project requirements. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales/marketing software.
