Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will drive service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio. Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issuesThe work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Business for services Division in Bangalore- Peenya, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tImplementing the assigned area or segment service sales strategy, including definition and communication of service value propositions and positioning in accordance with the global service sales strategy.•\tAchieving service sales targets and budgets through regular oversight, definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed•\tService Sales Deliveries -Penetrates IB, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB•\tVolume and profit: Utilizes Service Database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.•\tNew opportunities: Generates Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information•\tSales process: Sells entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Charts out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics
Qualifications for the roleEducation & Experience: Engineering in electricals/electronics with 5+ years of experience in sales/service sales.Knowledge\tVariable Frequency Drives (Low/Medium Voltage VFDs)\tMotors and Generators (LT and HT)\tIndustries and various applications\tMicrosoft office toolsSkills :\tValue Based Selling\tGood verbal and written communication skills.\tProficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com
