Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.The work model for the role is: #hybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Service in Luzon Island, Philippine. You will be mainly accountable for:- Sell products, system solutions and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability target for assigned Business Units/Product Groups- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process- Prepare sales plans and strategies using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.- Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy(delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)- Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers and pro-active selling methods.- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration with ABB or with partners.- Manage administrative procedures in product and services sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.- Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Sales Manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Qualifications for the roleTertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering.Preferably more than 2 years of experience in Sales in heavy industries including cement, pulp & paper, mining, etc.Well knowledge and understanding on the Market intelligence.Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential and other sales and tendering tools.Good communication skills and assertive business acumenAble to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills..Strategic and analytical skills
