Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will alsoshowcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is: #LI- OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Business for Services Division in Peenya- Bangalore, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:Penetrating IB, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB.Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them andproposes recovery plan(s) when needed. Regularly updating installed base with the changes made at site. Utilizingservice database to understand the existing installed base (IB), identifying and developing sales opportunities for serviceproducts and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the marketGenerating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifyingand exploring potential new service portfoliosEstablishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations anddemonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)Selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Charting out and monitoringsales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics. Preparing ABB’s service offerings based on customer needand in coordination with the local Service Sales Manager or Service ManagerPreparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases ofpotential order shortfalls

Qualifications for the role

Diploma/Engineering in electricals/electronics Require more than 5 years of experience in service salesGood knowledge on variable frequency drives (low or medium Voltage VFDs)Motors and Generators/Alternators (LT and HT)Industries and various applicationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com/ MS PowerPointGood verbal and written English communication skills
