We are looking for a high-reaching  Service Sales specialist to join our service Sales team.

As Service Sales Specialist you will promote and sell our service product portfolio to current and prospective customers within pharmaceutical, academic, scientific research, and clinical organisations across the assigned territory. You will handle your own panel of customer accounts, initiating and building strong customer relationships and driving contract coverage, growth and profitability over time. 

You will be passionate about selling our service product portfolio including: contract renewals; warranty conversions; training courses; & other services. 

This role is ideal for a Science/Engineering graduate with relevant sales or customer-facing experience, who wants to pursue a sales career at a global company.

The position is permanent and based out of Pune. In-person travels to customers in the assigned territory is required along with service, commercial and other teams.

What will you do?         

Optimally manage the sales of company service products to a variety of customer accounts and segments, building positive relationships over the phone/by email and in-person visits and delivering service sales presentationsGenerate new business from existing customers and promote and sell portfolio of New Services.Formulate driven pricing quotationsWork together with Instrument Sales to optimize the sales of upfront contracts and coordinate the approach on accounts assigned to service managementAccurately forecast future business and plan sales activities well in advanceDevelop and maintain detailed customer/prospect records and ensures that the relevant sales tools reflect this information (e.g. Sales Forecast & Territory Plan)

Who we are looking for:

Proficient in English in read, write and speak.Strong communications skills to optimally discuss customer’s needs to sell services by telephone and site visits; able to engage and influence at all levelsScience/Engineering graduate preferred, but not crucial if you have strong prior sales experienceSales approach; strongly motivated by targetsPositive approach and desire to succeedAbility to handle time optimally to prioritize and complete tasks requiredAble to adapt to a constantly evolving business environmentDigital literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar
